Qualifications/Experience

I have been working with preschool and school age children for over 15 years. I worked with the Hillsborough county school district after school care program where I started as a group leader and then moved up into an assistant director and then a director. I then got a job in the school district teaching Headstart and VPK. I did that for about 6 years. I then got a job working with kindergarten as a bilingual aide where I assisted with children who needed extra help due to a language barrier. I then took a part time job at New Hope Early Learning teaching the three year olds after having my son, after a year I left to have my now two year old twins. I also have my AS degree in Early childhood management, and an AA degree in Liberal Arts.

Personal/Preschool Philosophy

I believe that all children should have the opportunity to experience a safe, nurturing, and loving environment where they are encouraged and loved unconditionally for who they are and what they aspire to be. Together with a team of amazing, loving and creative teachers, I am committed to providing our students and families with a stable foundation for a lifetime of learning. I know and understand that play is a child’s most important work in life and I hope that we can encourage and provide an environment where your child will grow and thrive. I also believe that God is an active part of every aspect of our lives and know the importance of building the stepping stones at a young age to be able to have their own personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
