  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Daily operations

    • Student behavior

    • Subs/daily call outs

    • Staff scheduling including aftercare

    • Events (graduation, picture day, parties, etc.)

    • Supply inventory

    • Fundraisers

    • General administrative tasks as required

    • Maintain all needed DCF credentials for classroom

    • Parent communications and reminders

    Manager has responsibility to events of New Hope Church, related to families.

    *Please note that this is a new position effective July 1, 2025, and may require additional tasks as appropriate throughout the year. This job description will be evaluated after the current year to best reflect the development of the position.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university is preferred

    • CDA or Early Education college equivalent, minimum

    • Knowledge of child development and early learning standards

    • Strong organizational and time management skills

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    • Ability to build relationships with children, families, and staff

    • Proficiency in computer software and technology

    • Possess and maintain a current DCF staff credential

    Have a mature relationship with Jesus Christ and be actively engaged in the ministry at New Hope.

  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Provide supervision of students

    • Implement curriculum; develop daily lesson plans

    • Monitor, assess and report progress of student academic performance and behavior

    • Maintain student records

    • Monitor attendance and provide reports

    • Ensure the health and safety of students

    • Maintain a clean and orderly classroom

    • Operate a variety of classroom and office equipment including audio visual equipment as necessary.

    • Communicate with teachers, staff, administrators, and parents

    • Administer basic first aid to children as needed; prepare accident reports as necessary.

    • Attend staff meetings/trainings as required.

    • Communicate with teachers, staff, administrators, and parents

  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

    Provide coverage for the assigned position on a rotational basis, determined by need. Individual would adhere to the duties assigned to that position for which he/she is substituting.

New Hope Early Learning maintains standards of practice through oversight by New Hope Church leadership and is governed by our New Hope Early Learning Administrative Board that provides accountability and support to the staff and programs of our preschool.
